ABOUT "THE LIGHT OF TRUTH" By Marc Rubin In 2002 during the Holy Days of Passover, Palestinian terrorists massacred Jews at a Passover dinner. Never before had I been so angered by a Palestinian attack, and I have been very angry many times. I felt compelled to do something but I'm not a soldier or a statesman I'm an artist. I remembered the words of one of my mentors, Salvador Dali, "Words die when the sound is gone but great images imprint in the mind and stay forever." Three days after the Passover Massacre I outlined this exhibition. My intention is to strengthen and unite all Jewish people with our history and lineage depicted through positive events in our Books and Torah (The Bible). As I began to research details for the works I was taken back by archeological artifacts. While they gave me accurate clothing, hair styles, wall decorations, architecture etc., it became quite apparent that I had mistaken actual people and places as myth. True to the first lesson in formal fine art training, when a civilization is gone the art remains and it tells all. You see the translations of tablets and such revealed many names and places in Torah. I began to realize that the Hamites, descendants of Noah's third son, had tried to erase the history of the world and replace it with their own to pardon their theft of land and wealth. Some of the best known Hamites are the Canaanites, Egyptians and Syrians. The astonishing facts are easy to find. The ancient Assyrian Kings kept records written in stone, copper and bronze. All of the people named in Genesis lived. And moreover, it is the lineage of Seth, Adam and Eve's third son, which most of the people of this Earth come from. The Jewish people are descended from the first born son of Seth to his first born,etc. They are the inheritors of the knowledge and wealth of Adam, Seth and down the line to Enoch, Noah, Shem and Abraham. The world was not greatly populated in the time of Abraham and everyone new which son of Noah they were descended from, Shem being the first born. They all had knowledge of the One True God as handed down from Adam and Noah. And, they all knew that the inheritor, such as Abraham, was the most important man alive in their day. This lineage spoke and all listened. If they were angry everyone knew. And if they traveled around like Abraham, everyone welcomed them with respect. In fact, after Abraham revived strong faith in God, idol worshippers were on the outs with the civilized world. But true to Noah's prediction, the descendants of his youngest son Ham, were a corrupting force and an affliction to all other people but they did not dare to do any wrong to Abraham in fear of the One true God they claimed did not exist. These people known as Hamites are also the Cananites, Syrians, the northern Kingdom of Egypt and pockets in Greece, Italy and elsewhere. I learned that when the Hyksos invaded and took over Egypt they had come from a Japhenite (Noah's second son was Japheth) civilization north of Phoenicia (Lebanon). They invaded to subdue the "Egyptian Cananites" and had no problem identifying Joseph (son of Jacob, Abraham's grandson) as member of the house of current first born elder from the house of Seth, Noah, Shem and Abraham. Joseph gained great importance and power though he was separated from his father. This testifies to the importance of his lineage. In the next generation after Joseph the Egyptians regained power and immediately enslaved the descendants of Jacob. Hamite descendants continue to behave this same way today. They steal and claim ownership of other peoples land and destroy believers in the God of Abraham. Why? I don't know and I don't care; I only know that revealing the truth and fighting false propaganda with documentation, archeology, maps and the sword is paramount at this point in the history of Israel and the non-Muslim world. My part is to invite all to engage in the knowledge of the truth about the Jewish history I have depicted. ZOC Gateway To Israel With the formation and founding of the Zionist Organization of America 1897, in New York City, and months later the founding of the Zionist Organization of Chicago 1898, in the heartland of America, the Great Diaspora of the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob ended. Here in a free nation built upon the Ten Commandments and the laws created from them during the life of Moses, Jewish people were still not as free as Christians. But knowing the taste of freedom, a group of Jews decided to open the door to Israel where those laws were and would be more than words. Israel was still populated with Jews. The greatest concentration being in Jerusalem. They and their ancestors had survived from their roots in the twelve tribes of Israel from the time of Joshua. Within the population were varied groups of Christians and remnant Moslems. The collisions of civilizations and heretic religions had left the land in ruins but they had not destroyed the God of Israel or the Jews who stayed and saw it all. As the twentieth century began, Jews were trickling in to Israel from all over the world. It was as if a messenger was running around and spreading the word that it was time for Jews to come home. For Orthodox American Jews it was a call to action, not unlike so many other historic times recorded in Torah and the books of Judaism, so they created a gateway which no man or woman has been able to close. The ZOA and the ZOC have helped countless numbers of Jews return to Israel, including such people as Golda Meir and Moshe Arens. These organizations negotiated with governments of other countries and the United States to help in the recreation of Israel. Over time they have grown to include cultural arts efforts and business expansion in Israel while continuing to help Jews emigrate home and take others to visit all that is the Jewish homeland. They have worked for more than one hundred years to be integrally involved in the political friendships they have created. But, they did not expect the return of ancient hatred toward Israel which exploded from Islamic Syria, Arabia, Egypt, Persia, Babylonia- Mesopotamia (Iraq). As more jews returned home those countries flooded Israel with squatters in an effort to push out the returning Jews. They then turned to violence with hope of annihilating all Jews in Israel. They have attacked Israel with the armies of their countries and with subversive terror attacks. But, through it all Israel has remained steadfast and strong in a large part do to the ongoing efforts of the ZOA and the ZOC. These two organizations have grown in importance as they strive to keep their gateway to a secure and flourishing free Israel open. They will continue to serve as a rich resource of materials dealing with every aspect of Israel. In their continuing effort to unite American Jews in their commonality and kinship to Israel the ZOC has expanded to include an Arts Foundation to do what only Jews do best; bring light into the darkness and gain strength from that light and Elohim who made it.  |
